Lake Barkley Fried Chicken Seasoning
Lake Barkley brings back childhood memories of vacationing in the south, where fried foods were abundant. This seasoning is skillfully hand mixed from salt, roasted garlic, onion, California paprika, black pepper, regular yellow mustard powder, sage, rosemary, Mediterranean thyme, parsley and Greek oregano.

Lake Barkley Fried Chicken
For fantastic fried chicken, mix 1/4 cup Lake Barkely with 1 cup all-purpose flour. Dunk the chicken in buttermilk (for a light, fluffy crust) and roll in the flour mixture, coating it completely. Deep fry in vegetable oil and remove when they float to the surface. Try this with deep fried perch or catfish too!
This blend can be used as a seasoning as well and is particularly good on pork and beef. Try rubbing a little on a pork roast before cooking or mix a bit into your favorite meatloaf recipe.
