Essential for Thai cuisine, but also popular with Indian curry and other Asian dishes. Full of authentic Thai flavors, combining red and green chiles with galangal, cumin, coriander, shallots, garlic, cilantro, lemongrass, Lampong pepper, and Makrut lime leaves. Try sprinkling just 1-2 tsp. of Thai green curry seasoning when cooking, as just a pinch of this curry powder is enough to punch up the flavor. To make a traditional Thai green curry paste, mix green curry spices with fish sauce (or water) and a squirt of lime juice. Rates about a 6-7 in overall heat level.

This salt-free curry is bittersweet, earthy, and citrusy with peppery notes and medium heat.

How to Use

For traditional green Thai curry paste, mix 1 T of curry seasoning with 1 T fish sauce or water and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Try sprinkling green curry spices into ordinary chicken or tuna salad to really spice up the recipe.

About This Blend

Kreung Gaeng Kiow Wahn, commonly known to us as green curry paste, was created many centuries ago. Like most Thai curries, our version is heavily spiced with red and green chiles.
