About This Blend

Asafetida is a spice powder made from the ground, dried resin of a giant fennel plant. It's native to India, Iran and Afghanistan. In Hindi, it's called Hing. It's also known as the "Devil’s Dung" and "Stinking Gum," as it has an unpleasant aroma when uncooked.
