Add true, toasty onion flavor to nearly any dish. Our toasted onion powder is made by roasting white onions until they are golden brown and toasty, then dehydrating them. Use toasted onion to season most meats and vegetables, or mix into soups and stews. Try in place of white onion, or in instances where you'd typically use regular ground onion. Perfect to use in lieu of chopped onions. One tablespoon is equal to ½ cup fresh, chopped onion.There is no need to reconstitute these toasted onion granules.
