Flavor Profile
This citrusy orange extract made from pure Valencia orange oil pairs well with chocolate, cinnamon, and cloves.
How to Use
Add orange flavor to cookies, scones, breads, cakes, and pies. Infuse warm or iced tea, smoothies, and shakes. Orange extract can also be used in many savory dishes. Use 1/4 tsp of extract to replace 2 tsp orange zest. For best results, store in the refrigerator after opening.
About This Blend
When used in sweets, the orange flavor is similar to Orange Cointreau or Grand Marnier. Cool temperatures and dark environments will help to slow the oxidation process, for that reason we recommend keeping your orange extract in the refrigerator.More Information
