Olympus Greek Style Seasoning on hand, you have an easy shortcut. It will still take a bit more prep but you can mix 1 tsp. Seasoning with 1 cup yogurt, 1 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp lemon juice, 3 cloves minced garlic, and ½ of a cucumber (peel, seeded, and minced). Otherwise, you can find plenty of DIY recipes that use dried dill weed.

How do you prepare cucumbers for tzatziki dip?

You may be looking at tzatziki and wondering how they get the cucumbers so fine that they are almost creamy. The secret to getting that smooth texture in the dip relies on peeled, seeded, and minced or grated cucumbers. If you're making your own tzatziki, you'll want to cut the cucumbers in half, scrape the seeds out, and then shred them into fine pieces with a grater or food processor. Don’t forget to drain and wring out the cucumbers to remove as much moisture as possible. If not, the tzatziki will be watery.
