Our Madagascar vanilla beans are Grade A, the highest quality available. Grade A beans, also called prime or gourmet vanilla beans, are pliable and plump with a slightly oily surface. This makes them much easier to work with and to remove the seeds from the pod, which ensures maximum vanilla flavor in your finished dish. These vanilla beans are the ones commonly called for in most recipes for baked goods and desserts.

These whole vanilla beans are rich and creamy with strong vanilla flavor and subtle tobacco-like notes and pair well with cardamom, cinnamon, and saffron.

How to Use

One vanilla bean is equal to 1 tbsp. of extract.
Perfect for flavoring chocolate, coffee, ice cream, cookies and most sweet dishes. Good with certain savory dishes like lobster or veal. Never refrigerate or freeze. Keep in an airtight container, out of sunlight and away from heat.
