An herb and citrusy combination that imparts a bright, delicious flavor to chicken, turkey, game hens, ducks, or any other type of poultry. This citrus rub and herb seasoning is also great for flavoring any seafood, or root vegetables like potatoes. Generously rub this citrus seasoning on the outside of your chicken or turkey skin, as well as underneath the skin before cooking, roasting or grilling.

Flavor Profile

This briney, salt-based citrus rub is garlicky and citrusy with peppery and herbal notes.

How to Use

Use this citrus and herb blend to season chicken, turkey, duck or game hens. To make a citrusy dip, add 2 T to 1 cup sour cream. For a hot dip, add 2 T to 1 cup melted cheddar cheese. Sprinkle citrus seasoning on popcorn, potatoes, salads, and bread.

About This Blend

Due to a prevalent rolling fog, Nantucket is also known as "The Grey Lady." The dry grey sea salt we use in handcrafting this Nantucket Herb & Citrus Rub blend is a nod to both the grey sky and to the surrounding sea.

More Information

As a rub, we suggest using 1 tsp. of citrus grill seasoning per pound of poultry, or more to taste. Use rub with olive oil or melted butter, if desired, to help it stick.
