Madagascar Cloves
Cloves can be used for everything from baked goods and broths, to meat rubs and marinades. Around the world, whole cloves are an essential ingredient in soups, stocks, sauces, and stews. Used whole for many classic spice blends like mulling spices and pickling spices, as well as finely ground into blends like Garam Masala, Chinese Five Spice, and Pumpkin Pie Spice. Additionally, whole cloves are also used to stud fruit for pomander balls, or to garnish ham or onions.
