Minced Onion
Great for everyday use, or to use in a pinch for any dish that needs real onion flavor. Use minced onion as you would fresh, as the onion flavor is so true that nobody will be able to taste the difference. Plus, it will save you time and mess from mincing the onions yourself! When reconstituting dry minced onions, drain any excess liquid, and save to use in soups, stocks, sauces, or gravies. About 5 teaspoons of dried white onions will yield ¼ cup re-hydrated onion.
