Madras Curry Powder
A mild curry seasoning great for spicing up rice, sauces, vegetables, or soups. When seasoning meat, use about 1 teaspoon of Madras curry powder per pound of beef, chicken, or fish. This curry blend also goes well with lentils, beans, and rice. Use to make a Madras curry paste or sauce. To make a Madras paste, simply mix 1 tablespoon curry powder with 1 tablespoon each of water and oil. This curry paste can be used as a base for making a sauce.
