How can I flavor food without using salt?
Adding flavor to food without the using salt is easy with great salt-free seasonings or low-sodium spices. Use a favorite salt-free seasoning blend in our salt-free collection above, or try flavoring your dish with spices that are naturally saltless, like dried herbs or dried onions like shallots, whole seeds or single herbs & spices.
What seasonings don't have salt in them?
Seasonings that typically don't have salt in them can include but are not limited to garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, thyme, cinnamon, parsley, pepper, ginger and paprika. For our spice blends, look for seasoning labels that say "salt-free" for something that may usually contain salt, but was created in a salt-free version.
What seasonings have the least amount of sodium?
Most herbs would be the seasonings that contain the least amount of sodium - like bay leaves, basil, cilantro, dill, thyme, tarragon and rosemary, as well as whole seeds like coriander or cumin.
