Garlic Salt

The winning recipe from our Portland-Sellwood shop's 6th annual chili cook-off in 2018.

We turned what is traditionally a beef dish into a veggie lover's dream by swapping out the beef for meaty mushrooms. The mash is slightly sweet with the addition of carrots but has a nice garlic bite from our Garlic Salt. It's the ultimate winter comfort meal!

Shepherd's pie is the ultimate winter comfort food. Rich stewed meat is topped with a creamy potato and carrot mash for a satisfying and warming meal. Makes great leftovers!

This recipe was inspired by recipe author Abbey’s Grandpa Bill, who taught her everything she knows about smoking. He passed away recently, but not before sharing his famous “Bucksnort” beef jerky recipe (named after his Missouri farm) with his granddaughter. We’re thrilled to help Abbey honor her grandpa’s memory by sharing the recipe with our Savory family.
