Earthy Spices and Herbs
What does earthy taste mean? No, it doesn't mean that these spices taste like dirt, but they do have a slight bitterness and rich flavor. Coffee can have an earthy taste. Our earthy spices include coffee rubs, cumin, turmeric, and achiote. They add depth of flavor when paired with other spices like thyme, oregano, dried chiles, chili powder or garlic.
