How long do recipe kits last?
Our Spice & Easy meal starter spice mixes are recipe kits that are best when used within a year. You'll find a "best by" date on the package. As with any spice mix, for best flavor, we recommend storing it away from direct heat and light. Because you don't have to cook them right away, they are a great recipe kit to keep in the pantry for those "I don't know what to cook" kind of nights. We offer a 3-count at a discounted price so you can always have your favorite meal starter spice mix handy.
What is the difference between a meal kit and a recipe kit?
That depends on who you ask! Often, people think of the term "meal kit" as something that includes all of the ingredients you need - like meat, oil, and vegetables. A "recipe kit" might include a complete recipe with just some of the ingredients you need. We use the phrase Meal Starter Spice Mix to indicate that it's all of the spices you'll need, but that there are additional ingredients you'll need to have on hand. The key ingredients are listed on the front of the package as a "shopping list" for easy reference.
What makes our ready made recipe kits & spice packs easy?
Our Spice & Easy meal starter spice mixes are intended to make a homemade meal convenient. Some recipes are as simple as microwaveable desserts that take less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Other spice packs require a minimum of 20 minutes to marinate before cooking or grilling. All of our meal starter recipe kits include step-by-step directions right on the package so you never need to guess or look up a recipe.
Spend $100, Get $100 promotion is limited to 1 per transaction and is available online and at all Savory Spice locations. Orders must be over $100 after discounts to be eligible. One hundred dollars ($100) promotional credits are issued via email as five (5) $20 rewards once your order is shipped, fulfilled, or purchased in-store. Gift card purchases of $200 or more will receive two additional $20 rewards. Rewards are eligible for use from January 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025.
