Directions

Rinse blackberries and let them air dry on paper towels until mostly dry. In a small bowl, gently fold Black Onyx Chocolate Sugar into blackberries. Let sit 30 min. to 1 hour to macerate. Scrape berries, sugar, and any liquids that have accumulated into a small saucepan. Heat mixture over medium heat, stirring frequently, until berries begin to change color and soften. With a wooden spoon, crush the berries against the side of the pan. Simmer mixture for 10 to 15 min. until it thickened slightly. Serve, or let cool and refrigerate.
